Having grown up and gone to school and college in Devon and gained a degree in Art and Design at Wolverhampton, I set up a pottery business with my father Richard and ran it successfully for nearly twenty years. I then went on to gain a PGCE as an Art Teacher and this has been my occupation ever since. Nature and art have always been my passions since I was a child, and as my husband and I have enjoyed travelling the world, observing and photographing wildlife, for the past thirty-five years, it only made sense to bring those passions together as a wildlife and pet portrait artist. The sources for all my drawings are either my own photographs, taken in the wild in the UK and abroad – or those of my clients. As well as portraits of your pets, I can offer drawings of your own wildlife subjects.
